Ato & Co. is the UK’s 1st boutique for pet-friendly co-living. Based in London, we are a pet lifestyle destination devoted to elevating the shared experience of humans and animals through design that enriches both home and heart.

Our name, Ato (跡 / あと), meaning trace, footprint, the mark left behind, speaks to the subtle ways pets shape the atmosphere of a home.

We curate premium, design-led essentials that enhance comfort for companion animals while complementing contemporary living spaces. Each object is selected with intention and crafted with care, creating a harmonious environment where humans and pets share a beautifully considered life.

Our Beginning

Ato & Co. began with a simple observation:

While the UK offered many pet products, few carried the elegance, intentionality, and soulful design found across Asia. We longed for pieces that didn’t need to be hidden away—products that felt like part of the home, not an afterthought to it.

So we travelled—through makers’ workshops filled with tradition, innovation, and the quiet discipline of craftsmanship, through China’s contemporary studios, through Japan’s small ateliers. Here, we found what we were searching for:

Functional objects infused with cultural depth, hand-feel, and design integrity.

These creations weren’t merely accessories.They embodied a way of living—slow, intentional, quietly beautiful.
